How to Maximise my Swim Training

 Swimmers should:

  • Behave sensibly at all times, both in and out of the pool particularly in the Changing Rooms after sessions where you are still representing the Club
  • Treat all members of the Club with respect at all times
  • Arrive in good time to warm up (15 minutes before start time)
  • Be ready with hat and googles for a punctual start to the session
  • Swim full lengths and do not prevent those behind from completing their length
  • Bring a full drinks bottle to each session
  • Use the toilet before training. If you need to go again during the session ask your lane coach who will let you go between sets
  • Execute race speed turns and finishes as often as possible
  • Make every race start count - execute correctly!
  • Always listen to coaching staff when receiving instruction
